The Three Horseshoes
The Three Horseshoes is a 400-year-old country pub, serving food, tucked away in the beautiful Somerset village of Batcombe. Open to all, they welcome drinkers, foodies, walkers, dogs and children. You can be sure of a friendly welcome.

At The Chapel
A restaurant and wine merchant in an old converted chapel serving food throughout the day. The menu is modern with a good selection of light dishes. The stunning wood fired oven makes great pizzas. There is also a fabulous bakery selling pastries, bread, cakes and freshly made take-away items.

Served in his own informal and cosy home, Matt offers a simple ‘dish of the day’ style menu long with a selection of starters and desserts. Small and very popular, it is advisable to book in advance. A bring your own booze policy is offered with a small charge for corkage.
Open for supper Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Available for private parties on Saturday.

A traditional country pub that has been part of Somerset history since 1650. Located just under King Alfred’s Tower, and a short distance from Stourhead, the pub uses fresh local ingredients and it is complete with log fires and one of the best beer gardens in the West Country.

The Strode Arms
This eighteenth century country inn sits in the centre of the ancient village of Cranmore, opposite the duck pond, near the market towns of Frome and Shepton Mallet. Great food, an excellent range of drinks and a warm inviting atmosphere. Enjoy a summer’s day on the suntrap front terrace watching the ducks go by.

The Talbot Inn
This is a traditional yet stylish coaching inn in the heart of the historic village of Mells, 5 minutes from Frome in some of Somerset’s most stunning countryside. The Talbot Inn offers great food in a classic pub environment with all the comforts of a smart hotel. There is a main bar, snug, courtyard and map rooms open every day for classic pub food and drink. The Queens’ Arms
The pub is situated at the heart of the ancient village of Corton Denham, nestling on the Somerset/Dorset border just north of Sherborne. Surrounded by stunning countryside, this late 18th Century British pub will delight those in search of good drink, good food and real comfort. Recently awarded Taste of Somerset Best Pub 2013, the Queens Arms also has an AA Rosette for its food offering making this a destination pub.

Pythouse Kitchen Garden
A beautiful, traditional Victorian walled garden situated about 2½ miles west of Tisbury between Newtown and Semley. This 18th Century garden is the perfect destination to relax, eat and shop. Visitors can enjoy strolling around the garden, and unwind in the café either sitting in the garden under the apple trees, or on the terrace enjoying the views.
